A Quick Snack On-The-Go We're Loving: Easy & Delicious Oat Balls
Just in time for Sunday meal prep...
One of our all-time favourite healthy snacks is these delicious oatballs. They’re perfect for making a big batch ahead of time and keeping on hand in the fridge for a quick snack (and if you’re a mum, the kids will love them too!). They’re also very easy to make, if I say so myself. Here’s what you need:
Ingredients:
250g of rolled oats
125g of almond butter
170g of coconut flakes
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
125g of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of cacao nibs
2 tablespoons of coconut oil, melted
A pinch of fine-grain sea salt
In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together with your hands to make sure that everything is evenly distributed. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Finally, roll into bite-sized balls (this recipe makes about 16), and voilà …They’re ready to enjoy or store for the week ahead.
